According to Hindustan Times, Sunil Lahri said, “I liked his look in the poster. It is very good and as he is smart, he will look perfect in the role. But I don’t know how much people will accept him as Ram.”
“It is difficult to accept Ram in the room after Animal”
He further said, ‘I think you should take an actor who does not have any image or baggage. This would have worked well. Ranbir is a great actor with a great legacy. I am sure he will do justice. But it is a matter of people’s perception which you cannot change. He has to end his old performance and come out with this. Especially after doing a film like Animal, it will be very difficult for people to see him in the role of Ram.’
“Sai is not convinced about Pallavi”
Regarding Sai Pallavi, he said- ‘I don’t know how she is as an actress, I have never seen her work. But if I talk about looks, I am not very convinced. In my mind, Sita is very beautiful and has a perfect looking face. I don’t think Sai has that perfection in her face. If we talk about Indian mindset, all goddesses are very beautiful. It should be extra ordinary. I don’t know how they will make this actress so attractive that Raavan falls in love with her.’
